The 5PX3000iRT2UAU, an Eaton 5PX Series Line Interactive UPS, has a 0.9 power factor to deliver more output power, and industry-first energy consumption metering on an LCD screen. This 3kVA rated UPS has 9x IEC C13 10A and C19 16A power outlets.

Eaton’s 5PX3000iRT2UAU Line Interactive UPS offers exceptional efficiency and manageability, and features an industry-first capability to provide energy consumption metering information right down to managed outlet groups – kWh values can be monitored using the LCD or Eaton’s Intelligent Power® Software Suite. This powerful UPS offers the choice of 2RU rack mount or tower installation, and provides up to 99% efficiency, reducing cooling and utility costs. When operating in battery mode the 5PX3000iRT2UAU provides high quality pure waveform power for sensitive equipment, such as active PFC (power factor corrected) servers – and the high frequency Line-Interactive booster and fader technology smoothes under or over voltage power supply when in battery mode. The 5PX3000iRT2UAU has an expandable battery capacity of 3kVA/2.7kW and nine IEC power output sockets (8x 10amp C13, 1x 16amp C19) – capable of supporting connected devices for up to 14 minutes at 50% load from internal batteries only.

The 5PX3000iRT2UAU is a model from Eaton’s 5PX pure sinewave Line Interactive UPS Series. 5PX Series models are available in dual purpose Rack/Tower convertible cases, with pedestal and rail kits included. Models in the series offer up to 3kVA/2.7kW battery capacity. The following features are supported in addition to those mentioned above: 0.9 output power factor providing more real wattage in less space; stronger, longer battery life with Eaton’s innovative three-stage charging ABM® battery management technology; add up to four External Battery Modules (EBM) to extend the UPS battery runtime; hot-swappable batteries to increase UPS availability and minimise service time; Load Segment Control, enabling prioritised shutdown of non-essential equipment during outages; Power Management and Auto-Shutdown software is supplied with the UPS; remote control and monitoring capabilities are available via a USB or serial RS-232 port; remote on/off and power off (ROO/RPO) capability is supported; a rear panel slot accommodates an optional NMC or MC Web/SNMP, ModBus/JBus, Contacts/Serial communication card. Finally, these further optional hardware items can be connected to any 5PX Series UPS: Hot Swap Maintenance Bypass Switch (MBP) to avoid ‘downtime’ during service operations and FlexPDU for increased load distribution.
