Optcore’s OSP1250-3120DTR-CSC is a high performance and cost-effective small form factor pluggable (SFP) transceiver specified for hardened industrial 1000BASE-LX Gigabit Ethernet and 1G Fiber Channel application in harsh environments. It fully complies with the SFP Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA) and can be used on the MSA compliant networking equipment.

The 1000BASE-LX industrial grade SFP transceiver module is tested to be compatible with Cisco industrial networking equipment including Industrial Ethernet Switches, Industrial Ethernet Routers, Industrial Network Interface Cards (NICs) and industrial Ethernet Media Converters. The SFP transceiver is an ideal equivalent to Cisco GLC-LX-SM-RGD 1000BASE-LX SMF 1310nm 10km Industrial SFP optics but with the much lower price. The industrial SFP transceiver module provides a reliable rugged connectivity solution over fiber for system integrator, distributors and ends users in industrial network infrastructure and fiber cabling.

The SFP transceiver consists of the below sections: the LD driver, the limiting amplifier, the digital diagnostic monitor, the 1310nm FP laser and the PIN photo-detector. The SFP transceiver module is a Class 1 laser product complies with FDA/CDRH and IEC-60825 standards.
